Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio of various projects!

During my time at Clark, I’ve worked on a range of projects that were not only tied to class assignments but also felt connected to real-world experiences. I treated each one with the same level of commitment and focus I would bring to a professional job—meeting deadlines, refining ideas, and following through on the process.

The pieces featured here highlight that journey. Each includes detailed storyboards, early sketches, and notes that show how the final result came together. You’ll see a variety of work—from logo animations and app mockups, to Figma prototypes and video edits—reflecting different skills I’ve developed along the way.

Fine Arts Artwork

Take a look at the hands-on artwork I’ve created over the years. A majority of these projects use graphite, charcoal, and soft pastels. In my journey of exploring the fine arts, I have found that these are my favorite media choices. These artworks range from portraits, still lifes, recreations, and nude figure drawing.

Artist Favorites

For these three hand picked favorites. I wanted to talk a little bit more about them and give some more details as to why they are my favorites. Click away and view more details on each of them!

Digital Artwork

Take a look at the digital artwork I’ve created over the years. These digital projects vary from fun creations of realistic stained glass to book mockups to designs I created within projects.

Video, Logo, and Sound Animation

Take a look at the video animations I’ve created over the years. In my time of studying animation, there have been a variety of different projects. I’ve gone from the creation of assets to creating moving people to creating animated logos. I’ve also tried my hand at stop-motion, which was super fun!

1-Minute Animated Short Story
Illustrator – After Effects
Once again, music—and especially violins—found their way into one of my projects. This idea actually started off as something completely different: a stop-motion project! I originally created all the assets in Illustrator, took tons of screenshots, and spent a lot of time adjusting everything frame by frame. After the project was done, I decided to take it a step further and turn it into a full animation. I didn’t use any character voices, but I added some small sound effects to help with the storytelling and give it a sense of narration. It was a fun way to expand on the original idea and experiment with a new format.
Stop-motion Animation
Illustrator – Premiere Pro
The project for this was to film a stop-motion animation. However, since it seemed everyone was going to do that with physical objects, I decided to try the digital way. The digital way was definitely a hard challenge with a LOOOTT of frames, but the outcome was great. I had a lot of fun creating the assets and learning how to move things bit by bit. If I had the chance to go back and change anything, it would be to play around with adjusting the lighting. The main character was the main focus. In the end not as many outside assets moved.
Animated Infographic on Building a PC
Illustrator – After Effects
I’ve owned a gaming PC for a while, but I’d never really thought about what goes into building one from scratch. This project gave me the chance to learn the process and then turn that research into a 2-minute infographic. It was definitely a new challenge—not just creating all the visual assets, but also recording a voiceover. I had a full script prepared, but cutting it down to fit the 2-minute limit was tougher than I expected. It pushed me to be clear and concise while still trying to keep it engaging.
J.G. Paws Animation
Illustrator – After Effects
J.G. Paws is a brand specialized around cat owners and their fluffy friends. The creation of this project is the app layout and logo design. Throughout the process of coming up with this app there have been many changes to the original designs.

Sound and Video Editing

Take a look at the sound and video editing I’ve completed in my exploring journey of digital media. I’ve done projects that have to do with building up all the sounds from the ground or editing and rearranging clips to make a scene come to life.

The Importance of College 101
Premiere Pro – Camera for Footage
This was a short two-minute video created for a school project in my Professional Studio Experience class. The goal was to create an educational video explaining why students should take College 101 during their first two terms at Clark. The project started with two separate groups, each creating storyboards and gathering footage. Luckily, we had a script to work with that was already provided to us. Group A worked on scenes 1-6, and Group B worked on scenes 7-11. Then, both groups came together to share everything—storyboards, assets, and video clips. From there, each student took the shared materials and edited their own unique version of the video. It felt like a real-world experience, especially since only one final video would be chosen in the end. My version made it into the top 5! Although it wasn’t the final pick, I really enjoyed the process and loved the two versions that ended up being combined to create the final video.
